Acts 1
24 Then they prayed, “Lord, you know everyone’s heart. Show us which of these two you have chosen 25 to take over this apostolic ministry, which Judas left to go where he belongs.†26 Then they cast lots, and the lot fell to Matthias; so he was added to the eleven apostles.
Lord, thank You again for all that You are doing in my life! I’m so thankful for the chance to go to these two confernces! Lord, i pray You’ll give me wisdom, and Holy Spirit guide my every step, action, & word. Lord, i want it to be abundantly clear that they’re is something different about me, and it’s not the fact that i’m a bigot. Lord, i want them to see You! Thank You for this example in Acts of the apostles trusting You to control the destiny of “the dice.” So many times we’re so afraid to move because we don’t know if what we’re about to do is the right thing, when it’s as simple as praying that You’ll show us the right way, and moving forward with the practical options in front of me. Lord, I pray that i would be completely surrendered to Your will and desire this weekend and that i wouldn’t do anything to shame Your name. I love You, and again thank You so much for what You are doing in my life!
Lord, help me to be a better and more patient and more loving husband & father. I need You help because i just can’t seem to get a hold of it, and i feel bad for Meagan. Lord, i trust that You will give me wisdom, love and compassion to lead our family well. I love You!
