Acts 21-23

Lord, thank you for your power. This morning was a crazy rain and wind storm, and it’s comforting to me that You are in charge of it all! You made it all and You are in it all.

Lord, I pray You’ll help me to have a great week. I pray that I’ll have standout character despite what comes up. I pray that others will see my words and actions and desire to have what I have. Lord, I pray that You’ll help me to use my job as a platform for your glory. I pray You’ll both give me the opportunities, and the courage to speak your name and glorify You.

Lord, I also pray that You’ll help me with my quiet time. Right now, it’s super hit and miss. I pray You’ll put a desire in my heart for this fellowship with You. The passion and desire needs to burn from the inside and out, and Lord, I beg You for that. There is nothing more satisfying than being satisfied in You. Fill me with You!

Thank you for Meagan and all that she does in our family. She is incredible, and I pray You’ll help her to keep it up! I also pray you’ll give me the empathy and encouragement to encourage her in what she does.

I love you!

Lord, I’m so distracted today, and I have to get this project plan going. Please give me the supernatural ability to focus and work on it and knock it out. I love you so much.

Acts 16-18

The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. — Acts 17:24-25

Lord, this is is your planet, and I am but a small vessel in it, but I KNOW that you give me my life, breath and everything. Thank you so much for my review that happened last Monday. My bosses had nothing but good to say and it is clear that your favor is on me. Thank you for my job/career and the million blessings that come along with it.

Lord, I pray that you’ll help me do my job to your glory today. I am working on a plugin that will help our co. but it feels super hard to justify it. Please help me to make the right choices. Please give me peace, and do what the serenity prayer says.

Lord, I also pray over the argument that Meagan and I are having around getting up with the kids in the morning. I have a lot of resentment towards her because of my personal feelings of guilt combined w/ my feelings of justification. Right now, I don’t know which side is more accurate, or either. Please give me discernment and help to make the right choice there. Help me to be gracious and loving to Meagan.

Acts 10-12

Dear Jesus, thank you for you kindness to me. Thank you for giving me the privilege of playing in the band, and for running the sound board. Thank you for giving me the gift to do those things. Lord, thank You for sending the Holy Spirit, and I pray that the Holy Spirit would be alive in me. Today starts another work week, and I know there will be some significant challenges, so I just pray that You will work in and through me, so that nothing I do is out of my own selfish ambitions or laziness, but that I would do my job worthy of Your commendation, and that You would be given the glory. Lord, I pray that You will use my tenure w/ WDS to bring glory to yourself. I pray that I am used by You to accomplish your will, and I pray that You will continually make it clear to me what my purpose is. Thank you for your blessings, and thank you for your blessings on my week.

Lord, I pray you’ll also give Meagan an incredible week, and that she will be amazed at how much energy and patience she has. Help her to do great work at her salon. I love you.
