Matthew 6
1 “Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.
2 “Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.
3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
4 so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
God, i don’t know why but here i am struggling to journal again. Lord, i want to see and feel and hear You when i journal. i think it’s hard sometimes to just have faith that going through the motions, i can still connect with You… Probably because sometimes it’s hard to. Lord, i pray that You’ll help me to do it anyway! i don’t know what the deal is but i just can’t keep up with it sometimes. Thank You for reminding me to do it today. i pray that i’ll be a good steward of my time and other resources for You! Better yet, help me be a tool in Your hands just to do whatever You desire! i love You and i hope that even if i don’t really mean that, which i think i do, but i pray that You’ll help me to really truly want that inside. i love You!
