Proverbs 16

“
2 All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes,
but the LORD weighs the spirit.
3 Commit your work to the LORD,
and your plans will be established.

7 When a man’s ways please the LORD,
he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

9 The heart of man plans his way,
but the LORD establishes his steps.

20 Whoever gives thought to the word will discover good,
and blessed is he who trusts in the LORD.
21 The wise of heart is called discerning,
and sweetness of speech increases persuasiveness.

25 There is a way that seems right to a man,
but its end is the way to death.

30Whoever winks his eyes plans[d](AU) dishonest things;
he who(AV) purses his lips brings evil to pass.

32 Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.
33 The lot is cast into the lap,
but its every decision is from the LORD.

Lord, so many good things in Your Word today! Lord, i pray that You’ll help me to live these things today! Lord, thank You for Your sovereignty and for the fact that You are in absolute control, whatever that mean! That no matter what, i don’t have to worry! That You are there by my side, and ready to love me and help me. Lord, i commit my ways to You! i don’t always know what that means, but for starters i know it starts by doing this! Lord, i commit this day into Your hands, and i pray that You’ll do with me and with it what You would please! i pray that You’ll help me to be a yielded vessel! i pray that You’ll give me the words i need to say tonight! i pray that Your Spirit will absolutely wash over that place tonight!!! i want it to be so obvious that this is Your desire, and that Your stamp is on it. And Lord, if it’s not i trust that You will help me to change my mind… that i would see the error of my ways! God, i thank You for what You have done in that ministry, and in the lives of those that attend CR. i pray that You’ll help us to do the right thing! i pray that You’ll give the right people the passion, courage, and diligence they need along with me to start this thing back up… And if it’s not me to start it back up, i pray that You would bring the right person. i really just want to do whatever it is that You want me to do! i love You soooo much! i pray that You’ll help me with the Keith situation. i pray You’ll give me wisdom and the humility i need to speak to Keith. i pray that You’ll help me get past my strange fear of failure i have around Keith, and help me just to remember that i’m trying to do what You want me to do… And God, You said, “3 Commit your work to the LORD,
and your plans will be established.”
So i am committing, and trusting… because i cannot please You on my own… not without You helping me to do the right thing.. But i am absolutely committing to do whatever it is You ask me to do. Lord i trust that You will help me to know what is You want me to do also. Lord, i give this day to You and yield my life and will to You today! thank You for being here with me, and giving me wisdom about what to do! i love You!
