Proverbs 22:29 Do you see a man skillful in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men.

Ok, God… well things are getting crazy, and i need to know what You would have me do! My options as i see them: 1) finish my website and start promoting myself as a business. 2) Work on my portfolio only using online tools, and try to get a real job. 3) Go do manual labor again; painting, carpentry, etc.

Lord, i don’t know what You want for me, but i am yielding my life over to You. i trust that whatever You want me to do, that i’ll do it! i don’t know why things happen the way they do. i just know that You are in charge and absolute control. The economy doesn’t matter in the big picture. Life may get really hard… i pray it doesn’t, but Lord, You know what we need!

In Your Proverb, you said a man skillful in his work will stand before kings, not before obscure men… Lord, i’m not exactly sure what that means, but it implies to me a better paycheck. Lord, You have made me to be skillful in my work… in practically any thing that i do, You bless my work. Lord, please help me to get paid for this competency and skill! i know i’m not the best ever at all these things, but Lord, i know i can handle stuff! Please give me work that will pay our bills! Lord, i don’t want to lose our townhome in MN! i want to be able to pay our bills and get renters for that place! Lord, You know the desires of my heart better than i do. Right now, i’m not sure i know anything except that i want to provide for my family!

Lord, please give me wisdom and peace right now to make the right decision and provide for my family! Not only do i want to provide for my family, but i want to be generous to those around us! Right now, we’re being offered generosity by those around us, and it’s been a major blessing! Also, Meagan’s job is amazing! Lord, thank You for Your provision for us, and how much You have done for us up to this point! i know Your hand is on my life. Help me to keep my faith and to continue to trust You!
