Psalms 8, Proverbs 8
Lord, thank You for Jewel’s beautiful smile, and for Meagan’s nice looking butt. I’m going to make it my goal to thank You for something meaningful every time I journal. Thank You for my healthy family. Lord, I pray for Ryan and Katie that You would comfort them and give them peace during this difficult time. I know they were really looking forward to having this child, but that was not part of Your purpose. Lord, i also beg You to help me with my general lack of interest in the Bible. I feel like such a heathen even saying that, but You know it’s true, so no use hiding it. I need to get used to being honest with You. You know how selfish, depraved, and prideful I am. I pray that You’ll help me to reconnect with You. I just realized that I’m too comfortable with sitting on my ass, not being willing to go do stuff for the kingdom. Lord, i pray that You’ll shake that up, that You would set a fire under my butt that wouldn’t allow me to sit. I know I’m asking for pain now, but Lord, i just want to live my life with purpose, and i’m not sure i’m doing that right now, as much as i love working on the computer. Anyway, thankfully You know my heart, and know what it is that i really want, as well as having a plan for me that is perfect. Lord, I also pray for our generation… I know i’ve sung that song, Hosanna, several times, and like Luke said Tiffany said, have we ever meant it? Are we praying for our generation, much less praying for them fervently? Lord, i do pray that You will show Yourself to this generation, that they wouldn’t live their life in ignorance of You and Your power. I pray that You would wake us up, and bring about the change in America that it so desperately needs. I pray that we would get over ourselves and thinking that we’re so smart. Lord, i love You!
