Lord, thank you for the incredible blessings you pour on me. Thank you for the beautiful candid conversation I had with Mia where I told her about Moses and Samson, and she was so interested. We talked about death and your will, and even the trinity. And she got flustered thinking about how awesome it will be to meet you. Thank you for putting your spirit in here. I pray that she would have your salvation completely! I love you so much, and I pray you’ll own my other children’s hearts. I know you love them more than I do!

Lord, it must have been incredible when you split the red sea, and when you descended onto Mount Sinai. You are an awesome God, and one to revere and fear. Thank you for your lavish grace. Lord, I confess my lustful heart and how I have a hard time turning away from lust-causing images. Lord, purify me and create a clean spirit within me! Also, forgive me for my selfishness with my family. Thank you again for my incredible family. I am so incredibly blessed by them! Lord, I pray you’ll help Kellie and Jackson to be incredible parents. I know they will, and they are surrounded with help, but I just pray that you’ll help them to internalize their parenting and parent as you would want them to.

Exodus 7-10

Lord thank you. Thank you for all that you do for me. Thank you for my 32 years and the blessings you’ve brought me on my 32nd birthday. You are awesome and the demonstration of your power in Exodus is incredible. Lord, please forgive me for my complaints about my work and the bad attitude I’ve displayed. Help me to be a light that shines for you there and not be a darkness. Thank you so much for my family. Thank you for the great talk I had with Meagan about her learning to speak about her issues and complaints. Help me to be gracious. I love you

Psalm 17

I call upon you, for you will answer me, O God; incline your ear to me; hear my words. Wondrously show your steadfast love, O Savior of those who seek refuge from their adversaries at your right hand. (‭Psalm‬ ‭17‬:‭6-7‬ ESV)

Lord, we’re getting close with the storyftw plugin, but as we get closer, I get more nervous. I don’t want to dive in and make the wrong decision. I’m also growing weary of working so much. Lord You hear my cry. I pray that You’ll give me peace and guidance and confidence of what I should be doing. Please remove my anxiety. I love You.

Lord, thank you for a semi productive day, and thank you that Cristina had a talk with Bead/Lisa. I pray you’ll give me peace and wisdom to do my job in an above-reproach manner. Help me to get my projects done and help me to get the storyftw plugin done. Lord, You are for me, but against me, so I trust you’ll help me make it through this challenging time. I love You.

Colossians 3

Thank you God for the reminder that everything I’m doing, should be done for you. Thank you for my job. I pray that you’ll give me wisdom for how to properly handle my issues with my job. I’m having a hard time balancing all the expectations on me and am not sure how to properly deal with it. I trust that You’ll give me the words to say and the actions to take. Lord, I pray that you’ll help me to finish up the storyftw plugin and that you would help it to be immensely successful. God thank Tou for the incredible ways you’ve blessed my life! I pray that you’ll protect and keep my family. Ho me to be the kind of father/husband that brings You honor. I love you.

Romans 8

T) Thank you God for the incredible warm hug you gave me this morning while reading/writing about Romans 8 in my study with Troy. Thank you for reminding me of your incredible work in my life and how truly everything has worked out for my good.
A) You meticulously crafted my life and it is obvious to me that you have plans to prosper me not harm me. Lord, you are an incredible creator and your creation, earth is astounding to me. Thank you for letting me experience it.
C) Lord, I confess my distance from you, and my lusting after the characters not dressed on the shows i’m watching. I’m sorry that I get so caught up in the work you’ve provided me, that I neglect to connect with you.
S) Lord, I pray for Jewel and the blood in her diaper situation. Lord, the doctors said the cysts are gone, and I’m incredibly thankful for that, but I pray that you will continue to heal her and make her safe. I pray that whatever is wrong with her, that the drs would be able to figure it out, and more importantly that she would heal and deal with these issues any more. You are the great Physician and You are able.

Purpose Driven Life, Chapter 20

Thank You God, for reminding me that there were many times in the Bible where You wanted to kill Your own children. The reason was they they were being morons, but the fact still remains: Sometimes children are moronic and stir up wrath. Lord I need this reminder as we’re dealing with Mia lately. Her absolute refusal to play soccer has been a huge source of disappointment, anger and angst in our household.. mostly between Meagan and I. It’s so difficult for us to know what to do. It just seems that she’s content with blatantly disobeying us, and we’re not sure what to do to be “good parents.” I’m having a very difficult time not being bitter and resentful to Mia. Lord, I know she’s a sinner just like I am, but I’m having such a hard time having mercy on her. One of the main reasons it’s so difficult is because I don’t sense a humble spirit it in her at all. She’s proud of the fact that she doesn’t care that she can’t watch tv or only have one desert a day. I’m at my wit’s end because I don’t even know what punishment will work with her. In fact, I feel like like most of our punishments do little with her, but rather make her upset she got caught more than anything. So needless to say, i’m frustrated.

And on top of that (or maybe because of this), I’m not reading Your word or speaking to You. I feel cut off from You and I’m disappointingly aware of the fact that it’s my fault. I’ve neglected You and wonder why I feel neglected by You.

Lord, I pray You will give me a supernatural strength and urging to do the right thing! And Lord, I pray that You’ll give Meagan and i the supernatural strength and wisdom to deal with Mia the right way! I love You.

Purpose Driven Life, day's 17-18

Lord, I thank You for all You are doing and have done in my life. It’s incredible how you have blessed me, especially when it comes to my work! It’s amazing to love what you do and to be recognized for the work that you love. I love You and i’m very sorry that I have neglected Your Word, and my relationship with You. I get so caught up in the business of life, that I forget You, the author of life. Lord, I pray that You’ll help me to get back on track. Help me to meet with the right people and to give back since You’ve given so much to me! Please help me to take this reading through PDL seriously. Lord, I pray that You’ll also give us wisdom/direction about when and where we should move, and what we should do financially. I feel like we have been doing things a bit our own way, and I just want to get back to doing them Your way. Lord, thank You for the gift of new life in Meagan’s belly and I just pray that You’ll keep them both safe. Lord, I pray that You will help Meagan to feel better and to not have to deal with the nautia and acid reflux. Lord You are the healer and You can heal her! I thank You for her and our kids. Please give us wisdom to deal with Mia as she’s refusing to play soccer. Help us to the right thing by her. Lord, I love You. I’ll talk to You later! Hopefully sooner than later this time. :(

2 Chronicles 13-20, Psalm 78-79

God, thank You for everything. Thank You for helping us sell our house and for providing so much for us. God I pray for Dave Poletti and the Hamby’s.  Lord, I pray that You would deliver them with Your mighty hand. I know You can.. I’ve read so many stories of Your deliverance. Lord, I pray that You would deliver the Hamby’s from this curse of addiction.

Lord I also pray that You’ll give us wisdom to do the right things with our money. Lord, I want to get out of debt so bad, and You are slowly making that happen for us. I pray that You’ll give me wisdom with my spending, and with leading our home. I pray You’ll help me to be tender to the girls and to Meagan. I love You!

God, thank You for your kindness to my family. The closing of our house and subsequent money that was given to us as a “relocation fund’ were a huge blessing.  That means we no longer have the utilities and association dues to pay for as well as being able to pay off our car loan, Mia’s school, and several other little things.  Lord, what an amazing thing!  Thank You so much. I pray that You will help us to be good stewards of our money even more now, as we’re trying to pay off our debt.  Please give us wisdom. Lord, please give us parenting wisdom as well. Sometimes Mia shocks me with her bad attitude. Is this something I need to have more grace for? If so, I pray that You’ll give me a tender heart for her.. I pray that in either case, that I would have compassion for her and show her that her daddy loves her no matter what. Lord, I thank You for that, and for the amazing kids you’ve given us. Lord, I also pray for the Poletti’s. I know they are going through some pretty significant financial troubles right now, and I just pray that You’ll give them serenity. I pray that if they are doing the right thing, that You would help them to  know that, and if You want them to do something else, that You would clearly show them that as well. They are leaning on You Lord, and I pray that You will come through for them in miraculous ways. I love You so much!
